We work with many fundraisers through the years. These are some samples of the plants we have supplied to fundraisers. Each year our offerings and mixes change as we strive to improve and diversify our plants.
An average 13" hanging basket at the time of distribution. We try and keep our plants full, but compact for distribution. If the plants are too large, they tend to break as people bring them home.
Smaller 10" pots are often single-species pots, like these geraniums. Smaller pots don't contain enough soil volume or space to make mixes that last all season, while single-species like these do.
Some hanging baskets are mixed, while other are all one plant. Begonias are typically all one plant and make the perfect shade basket.
Fundraiser plants are ordered simply by size, and sun or shade. We grow thousands of mixes and ship and assortment of different styles and colours that look best at the time of distribution.
A sample 16" planter at the time of distribution. Like all our fundraiser plants, we keep them compact so they don't get damaged, but the plants will continue to grow and spill over as the season progresses.
Poinsettia colours will vary depending how they're grown. We tend to grow ours cooler and slower so give a greater longevity for the customer. White poinsettias tend to start more green but whiten more when in people's homes.
We grow a number of unique poinsettias of different colours. Plants such as these are sold as multi-colour.
For fundraising, we consider multi-colour to be plants with multi-coloured leaves, or in larger pots, those where we plant multiple coloured plants in the same pot.
Poinsettias aren't just red. White is the second most popular colour. We grow a number of tri-colour poinsettias in 10" pots.
Poinsettias are started in June and July to be ready for Christmas. It's a long crop that needs a lot of care.

One of the best shade baskets are begonias. All the begonias we use in baskets can tolerate both sun and shade making them extremely versatile.

As the hanging baskets fill, they trail more and more over the sides. Transporting these without damage can be difficult which is why distribution is limited to early season when plants are still more compact.

We plan all our planter designs in the fall based on the previous year's performance and then start growing the plants in January and February. All our planters and designed with longevity as our top priority.

Fall offers include simple mums as well as kale and mixed planters. Fall planters typically contain at least one perennial that can be planted into the garden before winter.
