For years, Richmond Nursery has been growing Tomatoes for the pick-your-own market. Tomato growing is geared towards large quantities of tomatoes and are sold by the bushel.

We have worked hard at trying to get a good crop of tomatoes and have come up with some great results. Using some different growing methods we have been able to get increased yeilds without the use of pesticides on the plants or fruit. Greater yeild means less walking and looking for fruit.

The tomato field changes location regularly as part of our crop-rotation process. The season typically starts around Labour Day and continues until frost hits.
